Cities Visisted When With
Prague 05/99 Hal

Prague is where light beer (pilsen) come from, and it's no wonder the Czech-Republic has the highest per-capita beer consumption in the world (followed by Germany and Ireland). Beer here is unsurpassed, and a pint costs about 16 American cents.

With its dark castle and black-statues lining gothic bridges, Prague looks like a creepy, sinister Paris. Its also very touristy, so expect to see Americans everywhere. Outside the old-town, however, the Czech-Republic retains much of its Soviet legacy - drab, cinder-block construction, meticulously on-time trolley cars driven by zombies, etc.
