Mmmmm.... Waffles... Belgian waffles really only exist here. What is sold under that label everywhere else has nothing to do with Belgian Waffles. Forget NATO or the EU or Jean-Claude Van Damme, the best reason to visit Brussels is for the waffles. Of course, French fries and French toast also originate here.
